Stories of Impact: WFWPI Global Peace Ambassador Dr. Dely Go
WFWPI UN Round Table Talk with Merly Barrete Barlaan and UN Ambassador for Peace Dr. Dely Go
Dr. Dely Go is an accomplished businesswoman, registered nurse, community, and global leader. She is a Filipino with Chinese and Japanese parentage. After the violent murder of her parents-in-law in Cebu, Dr. Go and her entire family had to leave their home and flourishing business and start anew in New Jersey.
Her journey is that of healing from trauma and helping the others get out from their own challenges. Dr. Go continues her humanitarian and leadership roles. She comes full circle as a WFWPI ambassador for peace, providing support to its environmental sustainability programs worldwide.
What's her key message to the public? Determination, and work hard. And faith in God. As a businesswoman, one should have a business plan to serve as a road map to reach one's goals, she said.
As a woman, wife, and mother, it's all about kindness and generosity she learned from her parents and from the kindly Sr. Jane Bradey, the first person to notice her own anguish as a young OR nurse. Let's listen to this heartwarming podcast at the Philippine Center on 5th Avenue, New York city.
