By WFWPI UN Office - Vienna

At the 15th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, WFWPI highlighted how a stable and safe home environment serves as the foundation for building courage and confidence in children. By fostering supportive domestic conditions, WFWPI believes that it can proactively address the root causes of delinquency and empower the next generation to thrive within their communities.

WFWP President Moriko Hori presents global realities on crime and the WFWPI model of peace education. Speakers at the UN Congress on Crime Prevention include: WFWP Europe Vice President Brigitte Wada, Asmaa Kftarou, director of Syrian Islamic Forum, and Dr. Kholoud El Wattar, founder and director of Lebanese Women Towards Decision-making.

Speakers Moriko Hori, WFWP President (speaking online) and Brigitte Wada, WFWP Europe Vice President, discussed the essential link between family well-being and juvenile justice outcomes in a meeting organized by WFWPIVienna and Middle East on September 27, 2026 in Abu Dhabi.
