Olga Borodkina is a children’s book illustrator. She graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University and worked as an English teacher teaching both children and adults for more than 10 years before she decided to follow a career in art and become a children's books illustrator. Olga taught herself how to paint with watercolor and create children’s books by watching her favorite artists on YouTube and Instagram.

Olga loves telling stories with her illustrations. She collects ideas for her works by observing the world around her as well as painting stories from her own childhood. Her favorite part of making art is creating characters and putting them into cozy environments. Olga uses bright, vibrant watercolor paints to bring her ideas to life. The main goal of her art journey is to enchant children’s imagination and bring happiness and joy to both young readers and their parents. Her greatest inspiration and endless source of happiness is her favorite pet and best companion, Chupi the cat.
