Virtual Café Book Club: "Transform Your Life with Atomic Habits" by James Clear
Build Better Habits, Break Bad Ones, and Master the Tiny Changes That Lead to Remarkable Results
About the Book & Author
Get ready to take charge of your growth! Our next Virtual Café Book Club selection is the international bestseller Atomic Habits by James Clear — a powerful guide to transforming your habits and, ultimately, your life.
In this game-changing book, Clear reveals how small, consistent changes compound into extraordinary results. Drawing on psychology, neuroscience, and real-life stories, he explains practical strategies for forming good habits, breaking bad ones, and mastering the tiny behaviors that lead to lasting success.
Why do some people seem to make progress effortlessly while others struggle to stay consistent? Atomic Habits answers this by showing how systems, not goals, shape your outcomes — and how to redesign your environment and mindset for growth.
You can read the book in English or your native language — whichever helps you absorb its actionable wisdom most easily.

Dear Friends and Aspiring Advocates,
It is with great joy and sincere anticipation that I extend to you a heartfelt invitation to
join us in Geneva for a unique opportunity to engage with the global human rights
community at the 59th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, taking
place from June 16 to July 11, 2025, at the historic Palais des Nations.
But before we step into the UN halls, we’ve prepared something special for you:
Two days of dynamic, hands-on advocacy training (June 14–15), led by myself and a
team of dedicated UN professionals and NGO leaders.
We’ll explore how the UN really works, practice using the language of diplomacy, and
prepare together to make your voice heard at the highest level. It’s practical. It’s
empowering. And yes, it’s designed for young leaders, professionals and activists who
are stepping up to make a difference.
Whether you're a student of international relations, a young activist, or someone eager
to contribute to global issues, this is your invitation to experience the United Nations
from the inside.
We can’t wait to meet you in Geneva!
Warm regards,
Carolyn Handschin
Director, Office for UN Relations – Geneva
President, NGO Committee on the Status of Women – Geneva
