Programs on Moral Education for the Youth (WFWP Russia)

On January 13, 2022, WFWP Russia gave talks on moral education at a school in the Moscow suburb for roughly 50 children in the 4th and 6th grade. The topic was “The consequences of using bad words.” In addition to that, we also spoke about true happiness and the true dignity of a person. We stressed that even one person’s behavior can influence the image of the whole country and that positive changes in our society can start even with even one person who has passion and sincere desire to change this world for the better.

The children and the teachers were deeply moved by the lectures. Children actively took part in the conversation supporting the lecturer with their own examples. They were so active and wanted to express their opinion that the time given for the talk turned out to be too short.

After the lecture children wrote very deep and good reflections:

“Before our talk, I thought that it was OK to use some bad words but after that, I understood why I shouldn’t do that for the sake of myself and my future”

“I have understood that my speech is the mirror of my soul”

“I have understood that if we use bad words or behave badly, we damage the dignity of our country”

WFWP of Russia is determined to continue such programs. Children have very good and pure hearts but without proper character education, they can easily become confused. I believe they need constant guidance and support.

As part of moral education, WFWP of Russia organizes charity programs and gives schoolchildren a chance to grow their hearts through caring and bringing joy to elderly people. This January, elementary school children made very beautiful congratulatory cards for people who live in an elderly people's house. The elderly people were really grateful and moved by young children’s love.
