Giving for Good Auction
“Earth, Our Home. All Life, Our Family”
Welcome
Giving for Good is a project that aims to conserve the Earth and all life through outreach, humanitarian aid, and circular fashion.
Giving for Good is a project of WFWPI, an international peace organization in General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. WFWPI has 120 chapters worldwide as well as over 100 humanitarian service projects around the world.
One of the many components of WFWPI’s mission is to strive towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Environmental sustainability is a concern close to the heart of the co-founder of WFWPI, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. Dr. Sun Jin Moon, the co-founder's daughter and Senior Vice President of WFWPI, launched the "Giving for Good" project in April of last year, encouraging people to resell their new and gently used clothing.
This year's "Giving for Good" auction will be held from January 24 to February 13. Dr. Moon and members of her family have graciously donated their gently used items to support this project, which are the items that are up for bid. We hope you will join us in this fundraiser and feel empowered to protect our Mother Earth through purchasing second-hand.
All proceeds of this auction will go to WFWPI, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We thank you for your support and happy bidding!
Note: When donating please make sure to specify in the comment section that your donation is intended for “Giving for Good”
Research shows, that the apparel industry is the second largest industrial polluter in the world, only second to oil.
This is not only an auction to raise funds for WFWPI, but a call to action for our community to do their part in reducing their own carbon footprint.
