Environmental Stewardship through Permaculture
Your generous support enables us to provide women and families the opportunities they need to thrive.
WFWPI’s environmental stewardship and climate action programs aim to mainstream permaculture education as a practical, scalable approach to transforming food systems, strengthening food security, and empowering women and communities, in alignment with UN General Assembly Resolution 76/300 (the human right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment). Through education, demonstration, and multi-stakeholder collaboration, we aim to help institutionalize permaculture within higher education and local governance mechanisms—supporting climate action, sustainable agriculture, and resilient livelihoods.
Our current projects include the Permaculture Education Hub and Farm in Bohol, Philippines, NJ Peace Garden & Farmacy and Scholarship on Permaculture Design Thinking Certification, Activate Leadership and Permaculture Project Management Training
