WFWP Benin celebrated International Women's Day on March 14, 2018 in Godomey. The celebration was dedicated to women's education and the distinction of Ambassadors for Peace.

In this context, Ms. Ehouman Blandine, first Vice President of WFWP Benin and leader of education for WFWP Benin, gave a presentation on the role of women in the education of the heart and sustainable development. Based on the UN's theme of "The time has come: rural and urban activists are transforming women's lives," Ms. Ehouman demonstrated to the women present that they are very important in the development and restoration of this world. She urged women to wake up and take responsibility for changing the course of history by positively impacting their environment.

Then in her second presentation, Ms. Ehouman addressed five universal principles of Ambassadors for Peace, after which six women were newly appointed Ambassadors for Peace. They promised to work harder to work to restore families in order to build a world of lasting peace.

The program concluded with a donation drive to sponsor 100 needy children who are candidates for a Primary Study Certificate (CEP) to receive their birth certificate. A group photo and cocktail party ended this celebration.
