Project Outline

We opened a mother and child education center in the most poverty stricken area of Ulaanbaatar, the capital, as a countermeasure to the children. A foster parent system has been introduced since 2001 to support the tuition for kindergarten children who have difficulty continuing schooling due to economic hardship.
In the dressmaking class, they make dresses at the end of the course to be used in Japan to introduce the project to Japanese, and for economic independence.
Of the operational cost, WFWP Japan supports 93%.
