Sewing classes for vocational training in WFWP Haiti

WFWP Haiti held sewing classes for women and men who want to become self-sufficient. The classes were divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with 12 students in each class, for a total of 24 participants. Those who mastered the skills were able to start their own businesses and sew uniforms for their students, leading to the empowerment of the community. In areas without electricity, students were also able to learn how to use a foot-pedal sewing machine, which does not require electricity.

At the graduation ceremony, each participant prepared his or her clothes to receive a certificate of completion.
