Providing Medical Services to Those in Need in Cambodia

From November 21 to 26 WFWP Cambodia invited a Japanese medical team to help organize  a medical service project in 2 provinces: In Peam Ro district and Prev Veng province.

In both areas, the team implemented a health exam system for adults, mainly targeting civil officers around that district, the health exam is a novel system in Cambodia.  Senior Vice Minister of Ministry of Civil Service also came to greet our medical team and observed our project.

In Koh Chreng commune in Chet Borey District, Kratie Province, the chapter free consultation and medication to locals, and they also treated 150 child dental cases. 

In Thmar Krea commune in the same district, Kratie, 300 people were treated. 

Throughout the whole period they had a good relationship with Cambodian doctors and medical students. The not only were trying to treat a sickness, but they also were working on to provide effective education for local people to prevent sickness and keep health.
