On October 9, the Women’s Federation for World Peace in Russia, with the support of the Family Federation for World Peace in Moscow held a webinar for parents on the topic “Trusting relationships with children is the way to guide and to help.”

The 47 parents and teachers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg and from a number of other countries joined the meeting live and 60 more watched through the Youtube livestream. All registrants received the recording after the event.

The parents had a chance to ask their questions before and during the programme and it was inspiring to see them so active during the whole webinar. They also answered questions posed by the speaker and wrote comments in the chat.

The main point of the meeting was on values education and on raising dignified people capable of making healthy decisions in their lives. Speakers also talked about the importance of close relationships between parents and children and gave practical steps on how to build trust.

WFWP got very good reflections from many participants. They expressed their desire to continue such meetings. Some of them would like to invite WFWP to give lectures at their schools as well.

Here are some of the reflections:
“Thank you very much for your work. I felt like I got to the spring of pure water. You are doing so much to purify our nation.”

“Thank you very much for the lecture. I liked it very much. All the topics connected to the education of children are interesting for me. Sometimes we as parents don’t know how to talk with our children on the topics mentioned in the lecture. I would be grateful if such meetings could be continued.”

“Thank you so much for the lecture! I liked it very very much. Especially I liked the fact that it was not in the form of just giving some information, but it was sharing real experience and guiding parents how to behave in certain situations with children. We want to hear those lectures on moral education mentioned in the webinar. We will be looking forward to meeting you again!”
