WFWP Italy held a conference on November 14, 2018 in cooperation with the writer Roberta D’Amore. The purpose was to discuss the rights women have in the workplace and promote Ms. D’Amore’s book Without You I Will Not Exist, which tells her deep, but not always easy, experiences as a mother.

Gemma Guerrini, representing the City Mayor Virginia Raggi, and President of the Committee on Equal Opportunity, thanked WFWP for its important mission and activities, followed by a report on the activities that the Municipality is doing to combat violence against women. Cinzia Guido, Councillor for Culture and Equal Opportunities, shared best practices and activities in her district in this regard.

Virginia Vandini, President of The Value of Feminine, explained about the stereotypes we women often face in society without recognizing it. Elisabetta Nistri introduced WFWP to the audience and presented Roberta’s book in detail. She shared about WFWP’s project to support and educate children and women in refugees camps in Jordan.
