[FINANCE REPORT] WOMEN’S FEDERATION FOR WORLD PEACE INTERNATIONAL 30 YEAR COMMEMORATIVE ISSUE
Dear WFWP Sponsors, Contributors, Leaders, Members, and Friends,
Warm greetings from the Women’s Federation for World Peace, International (WFWPI).
I am delighted to be in touch today to share my joy about the long-awaited 30th-anniversary book of WFWPI. We sent the books to our sponsors, contributors, friends, and partner organizations worldwide.
We hope you have already received your copy, but if not, this book will be on its way to you.
On behalf of the organization, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for your cooperation and support in the production of WFWPI's 30th-anniversary book. This publication project began with a small flashlight of ideas and grew into a great flame of creativity and teamwork, uniting women of various nations and cultures around the single belief of realizing “One Global Family” taught by our Co-Founders.
There were not enough pages to cover the information and stories over the vast span of 30 years. However, we hope you enjoy each page filled with laughter, tears, stories of challenges and achievements based on inspiring memories of our volunteers with a big vision to “cure and heal the hearts of people with motherly love” and “move forward with courage toward achieving a peaceful world.”
We recruited a volunteer editorial team in September 2021 and began fundraising for book publication costs shortly thereafter. Attached you will see a breakdown of how the sponsorship and pre-order funds raised by this project were used.
The last three years of the COVID-19 pandemic have not been easy for WFWP around the world. But despite the hardships, many of our members, leaders, and NGO partners have brought us patience and support. We would like to thank them for supporting us every step of the way.
I would like to express my gratitude to our International President, Dr. Julia H. Moon, who has fully supported this project behind the scenes. I am also deeply grateful to Dr. Sun Jin Moon, Senior Vice President, for motivating our team to respond to environmental awareness by using FSC A000523 papers and printing with soy ink.
Finally, I would like to thank the editorial team for their time, love, and unwavering support. This book will for sure remain as the historical record in portraying the various life teachings and as an educational tool for the future generation of women leaders.
