Kenya: International Day of Peace 2017

USA: Building Up Nepal
Back in 2015, WFWP stepped up to offer Nepal the support they needed to recuperate after the devastating earthquake. Since then, WFWP USA and WFWP Nepal have continued to develop a relationship. Fast forward to 2017 and they are once again collaborating together to support the country, specifically with a local school.
Jordan: Arabic Classes for Illiterate Children
WFWP Jordan supports after-school classes in two locations for Arabic literacy, numeracy, and English. A group of dedicated university students run the classes, offering creative exercises for academic, but also moral and emotional, support through play, sports and social work.
Italy: International Women's Day 2017
The President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, held a convention to celebrate International Women's Day with the theme "Women of Peace." He invited women representing major institutions in the political and corporate sphere and from the media. Elisabetta Nistri, President of WFWP Italy, was among those invited to the ceremony.
Haiti: International Women's Day 2017
WFWP Haiti held an event to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th, 2017. Over 80 people participated in the event, including students of literacy classes offered by WFWP Haiti and the Director of State for Literacy Education.
Nepal: Second Hope School
On March 2, 2017, Prof. Yeon ah Moon, president of WFWP International, together with leaders from WFWP Korea and 800 local citizens attended the dedication of the 2nd Hope School, Shree Jageshwor Higher Secondary School, located in Nepal.
